I have been taking esitalopram 10 mg. for 7 months along with xanax (alprazolam) .25 only as needed. my question is how do you know when it's time to get off?

Esitalopram: Commend yourself that you are considering to get off medications Esitalopram is primarily a medication for Depression. Xanax is for Anxiety. If you have good appetite, energy, interests, motivation; and you are functioning well in your relationships, work and personal life, discuss with Psychiatrist to gradually decrease dose of Esitalopram.
