How long does lmwh or heparin stay in the system for? i had a dose based on my bodyweight 84kg as they couldn't scan me overnight.

It depends on...: It depends on the way it was given. regular heparin is given IV and has a short stay in blood. When these are given under the skin(SubQ), they are present int he body for 24 to 48 hours.
