TV proximity: Hello ~ although not stated, I assume you are referring to the long term effects of IR rays. As far as I know IR is present only in the remote control units and the amount of IR irradiation is at a very low level and would not constitute a danger at that level. I am not 100% certain but I think the answer to that is NO its not a problem,. because the exposure is LOW thanks
