Right abdominal pain: Whenever a young person has the acute onset of right lower quadrant abdominal pain, particularly with fever, it is vital to rule out appendicitis. Normally diarrhea is not one of the cardinal symptoms of appendicitis, but if you have any pain remaining, it is important to be seen right away to be sure you're OK, and to figure out what is causing your symptoms if it is not appenditis. Do not delay.
