I am having severe ear pain. i was vomiting two days ago. there is no sinus pressure. took an antihistamine to 'help'. i am considering the er.

Check TMJ: Check for Temporomandibular Joint pain by holding a finger at the entrance of the ear canal while opening and closing your mouth. If the motion is clearly the cause then taking pain medicines , rest and a soft diet is recommended. Other causes could be swimmer's ear which is like a small pimple in the ear canal or a severe middle ear infection which would require antibiotics.
