Bruise Not uncommon: When Blood is drawn, some can leak around syringe needle & stay in the surrounding tissue. It will take some time to be reabsorbed by the body. Depends on size of needle used, depends how many tubes were drawn, because each tube is pushed into a receptical attached to the needle & some motion of needle occurs in arm. Aspirin use increases bruise, as far as Alcohol, patients are usually fasting.
