Metformin/ muscle: Yes , rarely lactic acidosis ,would call your doc now, hold metformin till discussed with doc.If off & glucose> 275 go to ER for treatment. Met can also lower B12 . If you are on statins ( lipitor (atorvastatin) or similar drugs) that can also cause muscle pain and myositis especially if CoEnzymes Q is low ( some docs always give Co Q) . https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a696005.html
