Barrett's: Technically speaking, Barrett's is precancerous, and as long as you eradicate it via repeated surveillance endoscopies, then it would not affect your lifespan. If left unaddressed, it could become cancer which would definitely shorten your life significantly. So keep a good relationship with your Gastroenterologist.
