Will a probation drug test tell the diffrence between a cough syurp with hydrocodone and norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) with hydrocodone ?

Not usually: A drug test is looking for the chemical hydrocodone which is the same no matter what it's in. Usually they will ask about what medications you are taking at the time of the test. In a probation situation you would likely need to have the prescription and name of the prescriber available for inspection.
