Macules : I would recommend you visit your dermatologist for a skin exam, it should alleviate any concerns you have. As far far as macules go the ABCDs are the most important descriptors. Your doctor will look for asymmetry, borders, color, and diameter. Most likely they are benign macules or if they are slightly raised with a stuck on appearance, seborrheic keratosis. Stay calm and call your dermatologist
