Probably normal: Tissue trauma from surgery initiates the body's natural healing mechanisms including the development of platelet rich plasma (PRP). The gel matrix that forms looks like swollen tissue. If you have ever had a scab that you looked under, the yellow "goo" in a wound is platelet rich plasma which is healing the trauma of a tissue wound. A discharge that looks like pus would be abnormal.
