Bottled: To be safe, if you don't know for sure whether the city water where you live is potable or not

Depends: If you live in a city with an approved water supply, and are confident about the plumbing in your home to drink it yourself, use tap water. If you have a well, and it passes tests for impurities+good plumbing, it is fine.If your plumbing has sediment or adds a funny taste, city water is not that great, or have untested well water, boil and or use bottled.
