A member asked:

Will i be more susceptible to ringworm being on isotrentinoin? should i avoid touching one who has it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No with reservations: Isotretinoin is an anti-inflammatory not an immunosuppressant, so it does not directly make you more susceptible to ringworm or superficial fungal infections. If it dries you out though, your protective skin barrier can be compromised and make you more prone for surface infections. Use normal precautions for contact with infected people.
