Annoying, but normal: What you are having is the ever-annoying pattern called "irregular bleeding". What's commonly referred to as "the mini pill" is a type of birth control pill that contains only progesterone. Irregular bleeding is a hallmark of this pill. The color signifies older blood and is not serious. Remember, take the pill at the exact same time daily or it might not be effective!
