I had unprotected 9 days after the start of my last period. my cycle is 27 days. what are the chances that i could be pregnant?

Quite possible: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

Ovulation: Ovulation in a fertile cycles occurs cycle length minus 14 days. In a 27 day cycle that would be day 13. You would be able to conceive for a 24 hour period. Male sperm can survive up to 5 days. Bottomline: there is a likelihood that you did conceive.
