A member asked:

What about a microfiber couch, how can you treat that if your child has scabies?

Steam clean: For such exposure I like to use a steam wand followed by a quick wipe down. The steam will kill most bugs on contact and you can be thorough, getting into crevices, without ruining the fabric. Wipe it down afterwards but there may not be much moisture left. You can use a hair dryer or heat gun to speed drying if an area seems moist afterward.
