Pneumonitis: Technically, pneumonitis (inflammation of the lungs) can occur from smoking any chemical, including crystal meth. (Illegal drugs often have other chemical impurities in them since they are manufactured in unregulated labs). Any chemical can inflame the lung, weakening them to the point that they are more susceptible to an infection (pneumonia) but damage can occur even without bacteria or viruses!

Not normally!: Smoking anything causes lung irritation and does predispose to bronchitis and infection. Treat your lungs with respect. You know this is not good for you, why do it? Hope you get treatment for your addiction. Wish you well!
