Atrial fibrillation: has variable symptoms. In fact many patient are completely asymptomatic. It would not be surprising for you to have short intermittent symptoms that are atrial fibrillation. On the other hand, it is highly unlikely that a 20 year old would have atrial fibrillation. It is simple to figure this out however with an event recorder. Ask your health care provider to order one for you.
