Hygiene: Avoid douching or so-called feminine hygiene products which can increase changes of developing bacterial vaginosis (a sort of vaginal infection that is not sexually transmitted). A thin, clear discharge is normal, but if it's thicker and white it could be yeast. Keep the area dry by wearing thin, airy underwear (try sleeping in boxer shorts), and avoid form-fitting pants or sweaty materials.
