Yes, unhealthy: If you're drinking the full-sugar kind of dr. Pepper, you're getting 64 grams of sugar per 20oz drink. This comes from high-fructose corn syrup, which contributes to fat deposits in your liver, and plaque buildup & narrowing of blood vessels. Diet dr. Pepper is risky too. A study found that people who drink diet drinks daily were 43% more likely to have suffered strokes or heart attacks.

YES !: Regularly drinking soda has been linked to Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, Diabetes, heart disease & metabolic syndrome. Other possible risks include: increased weight, decreased bone mineral density (BMD) obesity, erosion of tooth enamel, mineral depletion & dehydration. If it contains artificial sweeteners & is used daily, this is linked to a 3 fold ^ in dementia & stroke.
