can you get a uti from rinsing vulva area (because period, ugh) with showerhead if maybe some water gets into urethra? feeling was so uncomfortable!

Its possible: UTIs occur when bacteria move up the urethra into the bladder. Its possible that if you sprayed water up the urethra it could carry bacteria that you could get a bladder infection. If you get UTI symptoms, you will need and antibiotic. Best wishes!
