Obgyn visit: If you have been bleeding for 3 weeks then it is time to see an obgyn. This may be simply breakthrough bleeding on birth control but other causes such as infections, polyps, fibroids and other causes can be assessed during your pelvic exam. Alternative birth control methods may provide better cycle control.
