Emotional, cognitive, communicative & social development leads to sleep-onset problems & night-waking in a 6-mo.-old who did not learn to self-calm to sleep in her crib by 4 mos. At a set bedtime, feed, wipe out her mouth, read to her & put her in her crib drowsy, but awake. Consistently ignore her crying; it will worsen at 1st, then stop.
