Not too likely: Pieces of tampons do not usually come off. You can use your finger to feel inside the vagina to see if there is anything in there. If there was a tiny piece it would likely get washed out with your menstrual cycle and with the next tampon. If you still are concerned you can ask a Obgyn to look for you.
