A "cure" like bacon: PCOS is never cured, rather it is managed like bacon is "cured" by preserving the ovaries "freshness" and function for long term use. As to how long that takes, that depends on when you want to get pregnant and use the ovaries for ovulation. They still may need to be "jump started" with an ovulation induction drug when you are ready for conception.
