Lack of sleep will: not impact your height. It will effect your mood and overall health however. Responsibilities make it difficult for us to find time to sleep but please try to do so. If necessary, use the computer less. Focus more or who you are rather than how tall you are. Peace and good health.

Might: Growth hormone comes out during sleep. Failure to get adequate restorative sleep, 9+ hours during growth, can slow or decrease eventual height. At 17, your growth centers may have closed, if so you can't grow taller anyway.(X-ray of wrist/hand can tell) Increased sleep is needed during periods of heightened physical activity, study or growth.Lack of proper sleep can lead to decline in those areas
