Hormones & Cervix: This can be normal as many women who have had a miscarriage undergo a number of hormonal changes as well as inflammation - all which can cause position changes of the uterus and softening of the cervix. In most women, these changes should normalize within the next several months though can change if getting pregnant again. Keep in mind - with other symptoms, it can also indicate infection
