Unusual, concerning: Tenderness on the vulva can be from herpes or genital warts, but neither of those would develop 2 days after exposure and would not cause a vaginal discharge. An abscess (pocket of infection) on the labia which is draining on its own can act like what you describe. I'm glad it's getting better, but nonetheless a green discharge and genital pain is concerning, and a doc eval will be important.

Check for STD: You need to be examined to rule out a sexually transmitted infection. The only way to know is to test a sample of the discharge. You should not have any intimate sexual activity until you are evaluated by a physician.
