Sore Throat: Sinus drainage can cause a sore throat. For it to be recurrent it is likely due to some environmental cause such as pollution or allergies. You need an evaluation by your doctor.

Viral: It sounds like a viral upper respiratory infection but you shouldn't be getting them so often. Perhaps excessive dryness in your environment makes you prone to these infections or irritations. Take extra vit c and use a humidifier if necessary to improve your resistance. If symptoms persist an exam by an otolaryngologist and a throat culture are advised.
