Depends on you: The timing doesn't change the effect of Prozac (fluoxetine) on depression, anxiety, or panic attacks. But Prozac tends to be "activating" and might disturb sleep if taken at bedtime. Most patients take it after their first food of the day, e.g., after breakfast. Rarely, patients find it sedating instead of activating, and then it's best to take it at bedtime.

Yes: If Prozac (fluoxetine) does not keep you awake with bedtime dose, fine to take then. Many prefer a morning dose. Take consistently same time each day and let prescribing doctor know when you take med. I hope this helps.
