Contact dermatitis?: Do you have poison ivy in your area? Did you come in contact with plastic, metal, or chemicals in that area of your leg? It sounds like your skin may be reacting to something it came in contact with. If it is painful, or has a cloudy pus-like discharge, or you have fever, get seen to rule out infections. Otherwise, wash it well and try hydrocortisone cream 2x/day.
