Unusual: soreness or pain at an incision after a laparoscopic hernia repair can happen. Pain from your period at the incision is unusual. If you had the hernia repaired in your belly buttom and this is the site of pain then it is really referred pain. It may just be a coincidence. If it continues to happen then visit with your surgeon for follow up.
