Second opinion: Although I tend to lean towards the advice of a gyn in this matter, you have such obvious conflict of opinion that I would find another GYN to give an independent opinion. Removal of large fibroids can interfere with the success of pregnancy attempts.

Fertility : I would tell you they can both be correct. Fibroids grow often with pregnancy, thus a larger fibroid would probably need to be removed. The infertility specialist would be concerned about structures that will reduce your chances of getting pregnant. If the fibroids do not alter the endometrial cavity they likely will not reduce pregnancy chances, and the fertility specialist would not remove them.
