Not recommended: both of these drugs contain opioids and adding them together increases their risks. The prescribing doctor or your pharmacist are better sources for information on this, since they will know your health history and use of medications. Adding them together, particularly if combined with other CNS depressant drugs, including alcohol, can lead to sedation. Generally, do not drive on these meds.
