Medium: The importance of the temperature depends on the whole story. For example, for a patient with new influenza diagnosed yesterday, who now has a temperature of 102 but also had 102 yesterday... today's 102 fever has no special meaning. On the other hand, a 5-week old baby who has a 102 fever today but was normal yesterday, will need to see the doctor today.
