A member asked:

Can ct scans affect your eyes? i had one and shortly after my eyes were kind of blurry/felt almost cross-eyed. i assume they don't,just wanted to ask.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: CT imaging of the brain & orbits does not have a high associated risk to ocular health due to low radiation. I'm not sure where your imaging was performed and whether any IV sedative was given or IV contrast dye. Sometimes if sedatives were given your focus will be altered until completely eliminated from your body. The CT scan is not likely to have any associated affect though.
