Need stool culture: Most acute diarrhea is due to any one of a number of viruses, most often noroviruses, causing a gastroenteritis. With such limited history I suggest you may want to see your physician or have an online consultation at Health Tap. *Diarrhea lasting 2 weeks is not common with viral gastroenteritis and there may be another infection or cause.SEE> http://bit.ly/1L7sqOK and http://bit.ly/1vxEW0V

Long time for that: (run of the mill food poisoning) but could still be an infection. You can try Saccharamyces in addition to the standard probiotics, (taken once or twice daily) and one Charco Cap after each loose BM (not with other meds or probiotics though). If it keeps up or if much pain or any fever, time to see someone. Good luck!
