Sounds normal: While it's an unclear cause and effect issue, it doesn't sound dangerous at all. Also doesn't point towards any specific complication. Not normal: Frequent urination after bowel movements a month after banding is not normal. About 5% of patients may develop temporary urinary retention, meaning the bladder doesn't completely empty. Perhaps your symptoms are related to this. You should speak with the specialist and see a Urologist if this persists.
