Im having my first outbreak of genital herpes and was wondering if neosporin is okay to put on it and what else could help with burning/stinging pain?

Neosporin won't work: Herpes is a viral infection and will not respond to Neosporin. If you are certain it is herpes, you should see your physician. Since this is your primary infection your doctor will probably have you take an anti-viral like Acyclovir or Valacyclovir. Take some Ibuprofen for the pain and have your physician check you.
