About 10-12 hours,: because it's a low adult dose.. If your AM Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) or Adderall XR doesn't last long enough, ask your MD about increasing the dose slowly for optimal effect. If side effects prevent this, your MD may add regular Adderall that lasts 4-6 hours to take 45 min. - 1 hr. before your AM dose wears off. The dose will depend on not exceeding a total daily dose of 40 mg. Adderall or 70 mg. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine).
