Peripheral neuropath: Most of the peripheral neuropathies affect the arms and legs. However, at your age, burning pain can be likely due to herpes zoster (shingles). Look for any skin lesions. Dry skin may also cause burning type of pain. Simple vaseline may be helpful. See a physician if it lasts longer
