How bad?: It depends on how severe the symptoms are and whether they have gotten worse? We are definitely the cold and flu season. Rest and fluids are generally good. I could be more helpful if given more details and with time to see how things evolve. Most sore throats are viral and resolve without treatment. Hope you feel better soon.
