A member asked:

How will a urologist find out if my cremaster muscle is damaged or if there is any wear or tear? what procedure will he follow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cremaster muscle !: This small muscle is responsible for elevating the testis. if you are touched on the inner side of the thigh, the testicle will rise on that side. This is the simplest and most accurate test. The test is employed in the more general sense to test for neurological conditions, there are no known diseases of the cremaster muscle per se. I wonder why you ask?
