See a dentist ASAP: Lumps on the side of the tongue that last longer than 2-3 weeks without healing should be checked by a dentist or an oral pathologist. Call for appointment ASAP.

Lumps: Lumps lasting more than 10 days to 2 weeks deserve immediate investigation. Please see a specialist Oral Surgeon or an Oral Medicine specialist. The internet is not an appropriate forum for an informed opinion as you cannot be physically examined long distance.
