Preventing yeast: Hormonal contraception doesn't normally cause yeast infections, although it can cause changes in vaginal discharge. Talk to your doctor about a) confirming that yeast infection is the problem and if so b) once weekly fluconazole (Diflucan) by mouth to prevent it. Good luck.
