More likely a period: A traumatic injury to the vagina is possible, but considering how long the bleeding has lasted, your period is more likely unless you're having pain. There's usually not much left of the hymen by the time a woman reaches adolescence regardless of sexual experience. It is a falsehood or myth that it stays intact until sex or can be an indicator of virginity.
