A member asked:

I have found a tiny white dot in my left eye in the white part what will be the reason?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pinguecula: The most likely cause is the presence of a protective deposit termed pinguecula. These are at the three and none o'clock positions next to the color part of the eye. If this dot is new, and located elsewhere - and especially if the eye is red or the vision is changed, then see your ophthalmologist.
