May be: Apple or apple sauce for babies does help diarrhea. It has pectin that is same ingredient in kaopectate (kaolin and pectin).It is also recommended when a baby has diarrhea as it provides potassium that you loose in diarrhea. You might need to take the baby to a pediatrician or a family doctor if symptoms persist. Also make sure that baby gets plenty of fluids, bananas, jello, & cereals.
