i'm trying to understand the relationship of hypoglycemia and hypotension. how does hypoglycemia cause hypotension?

Yes, is difficult to: understand relationships between issues which are not related, at least not in ANY simple way. Blood glucose & blood pressure are two very different physiological behaviors. While both are controlled from the mind/brain, there has never been any evidence of any simple linkage. Simple linkage would be both highly inappropriate & life threatening; many different life issues involved in each.
