Strange question: H. pylori colonization of the gastric mucosa does not cause pain. If you have peptic ulcer disease or chronic antral gastritis related to H. pylori, then your disease may not resolve unless H. pylori is eradicated with four-drug therapy. How do you know you have H. pylori? What is the plan of the doctor who told you that you have H. pylori? Maybe you should ask him.
